Steve "Magoo" Humphrey McDonald, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Known lovingly as Magoo, Steve dedicated 30 years to his career as a cable man. His passion for sports was well-known, with the UK Wildcats and Minnesota Vikings being his favorite teams. He cherished time spent with family and friends, often enjoying games of pool in his garage, creating lasting memories. He was a proud Valley Station resident his whole life. Most importantly his favorite thing in life was being Isaacs dad.
Born on August 29, 1962, in Louisville to Edgar and Magdalene McDonald, Steve was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind a loving family: his son Isaac C. McDonald and daughter-in-law Kortney, granddaughter Josie Lynne McDonald, siblings, Diane (Herbie) Neal, Rocky (Karen) McDonald, Mark (Jeannie) McDonald, Lisa (Jimmy) Eaton, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Steve will be laid to rest at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
