Stephen Anthony Spink

Stephen Anthony Spink, fondly known as Steve, passed away on February 1, 2026, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on June 2, 1968, Stephen was a lifelong resident of this vibrant community, where he built cherished relationships and made lasting contributions.

Educated at Trinity High School in Louisville, Steve possessed a keen sense of dedication and work ethic. He went on to work at Sam Meyers alongside his uncle, John Froman. This period of his life was marked by hard work and a commitment to family values that he held dear.

Stephen was surrounded by a loving family, which included his parents, David and Margaret Spink; a brother, Michael Spink; a sister, Susie Spink; and aunts, Mary Mattingly and Bonnie Spink. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends who admired and respected him deeply.

Steve's love for family was evident in his close connections with his relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mary Ann and Raymond Froman, and Chester and Mable Spink, as well as several uncles and aunts: John Froman, Larry, Steve, Ellen Briscoe, Doris, Laverne, Maxine, Geraldine, and Gloria. Their memories live on, intertwined with the legacy he leaves behind.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Stephen's life will be held on February 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in East Louisville. The address for the gathering is 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, and honor the profound impact Steve had on their lives.
