Stephen W. Gritton, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 20, 1952 to the late Robert and Rachel Gritton. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church and was a retired handyman. He was an avid fisherman and loved his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Gritton.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Gritton; children, Stacy (Jim C.) Gritton-Krieger, Stephen J. (Stephanie) Gritton and their mother, Cleo Robinson, Russell (Jacqueline) Gritton, Jennifer (Rusty) Greene, Jeremiah Gritton, Candice (Kerry) Kasian-Cardwell, Stephanie (Michael) Coleman and Dawn (Kenny) Harris; siblings, Danny (Bobbi) Gritton, Darlene (Tommy) Zinner, Laurie (Steve) Hooper, and Timothy Gritton; and numerous grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
