Stephen Me-Kale Buckner Sr.

Stephen Me-Kale Buckner Sr., 34, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Stephen enjoyed going fishing and camping with friends and family. He was an avid Lakers fan and Green Bay Packers fan. Stephen loved spending time in the kitchen cooking for his children. He was a one of a kind person who was loved by so many, and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on February 18, 1987 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Terrry (Murphy) Buckner. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Eugene & Leona Murphy, Grandfather, Ogen Buckner, Sister, Lenora Buckner, and Uncle, Ronnie Breed.

Stephen is survived by his Mother, Terry (Daniel) Newton, Father, William (Karen) Buckner, Sr., Daughter, Nina Woods, Son, Stephen Buckner, Jr., Daughter, Kaliyah Buckner, Companion, Jessica Duncan, Grandmother, Clara Duckworth-Buckner, Sister, Tanika Buckner, and Brother, William Buckner, Jr. Stephen also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Extended Family.

Services will be Private for Immediate Family only. Burial will be held at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
