Stephanie Rae Huelsman Allison, a beloved wife, mother, and devoted member of her community, passed away on May 19, 2026, in Sellersburg, Indiana. Born on March 5, 1967, in Alexandria, Minnesota, Stephanie’s life was a testament to the love and joy she found in her family and faith.

A 1985 graduate of Providence High School in Clarksville, Indiana, Stephanie embraced her role as a stay-at-home wife and mother with pride and dedication. Her family was her entire world, and she cherished every moment spent with them, finding her greatest happiness in their presence. In June of 2003, Stephanie married the love of her life, Richard “Rick” Allison, with whom she shared 23 wonderful years of marriage.

Stephanie was an active and proud member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg, Indiana. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, offering strength, comfort, and community to her and her loved ones.

She enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life outside her family commitments. An avid reader, Stephanie found pleasure in exploring new worlds through books. She loved music and traveling, particularly treasuring trips to Disney World. A passionate sports enthusiast, she supported all Minnesota teams and was a devoted University of Kentucky fan.

Stephanie’s legacy lives on through her loving husband, Rick Allison; her children, Max Allison and Kayley Allison; her parents, Raymond and Barbara Huelsman; her sister, Linette Huelsman; her brother Raymie Huelsman, and his wife Elma; her mother-in-law, Susie Mayes; and her sister-in-law Kathy Wittier and her husband Mark. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, whom she fondly remembered.

Stephanie Rae Huelsman Allison will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to family, her vibrant spirit, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her proudest accomplishment was the countless moments spent with family and friends, moments that now stand as a cherished memory for all who knew her. She leaves behind a profound legacy of love, kindness, and devotion that will continue to inspire.

A private mass will take place with burial at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Cemetery in Sellersburg, Indiana. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family requests that contributions in Stephanie’s memory be made to Autism Society of Kentuckiana.
