Stella Terry, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer.
She was born on September 27, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Jesse Sutherland and Minnie Whittaker. Stella was a dedicated wife, mother, and MawMaw. She was an extremely kind and giving person, and would give you the shirt off of her back. She will be remembered for her love of family and they will always carry her memory in their hearts.
She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Yount, sisters, Margaret, Martha, Cora, Alice, Elizabeth, and Julia; brothers, Warren, William, Jesse, and Roy.
Stella is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Joseph Terry, daughter, Amanda (Adam) Gardner, son, Brian Terry, grandchildren, Alyssa Terry, Jonathan Gardner, Kristin Terry, Allison Leanhart, Chelsey Yount, Eddie Yount, III, Kimberly "Nikki" Hardin; her beloved dog, Tucker; and several nieces and nephews. .
Due to current restrictions, services will be private. Stella will be laid to rest at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
