Stanley R. "Stan" Thompson, passed away on November 12, 2015. He proudly served his country as an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force. He retired from Tube Turns as a foreman of tool and dye. He loved going to Rough River and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruby Thompson and a brother, Doug Thompson.
Stan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Peggy Thompson; daughters, Nikki Troxle and Meredith Thompson; grandsons, Jackson and Duncan Troxle and nieces, Susan Thompson and Michelle Spadie.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 2pm-7pm with a celebration of Stan's life beginning at 7pm.
