Stanley Lazrovitch

November 30, 1956 — April 8, 2020

Stan Lazrovitch, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at St Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. No words can express the love Stan showed to his family and friends. He was always quick to help and never expected anything in return. Stan once had dreams of becoming a music teacher. He held onto his saxophone from High School, and would once in awhile play it. He worked for several years at Rally's and JBSwift, where he made friends with numerous clients and coworkers. When Stan was not working he enjoyed cooking, grilling, fishing and playing golf. Stan was an avid Nascar fan and was a huge Tony Stewart fan. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, often times combining his hobbies with his people.

He was born on November 30, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Richard Lazrovitch and Frances Mudd. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers, Bobby Lazrovitch, and Steve Lazrovitch, Step-Sister, Lynn Warren, Nephew Ross Lazrovitch, and Niece, Lisa Dupin.

Stan is survived by his Wife, Anita Alvizuri, Daughters, Shelly Lazrovitch, and Amanda (James) Edmunds, Son, Kevin Lazrovitch, Step-Sons, Paolo Chacon, and Rodrigo Chacon, Granddaughters, Nora Madden, Megan Madden, and Eleanor Edmunds, Brothers, Paul Lazrovitch, Gus (Debbie) Lazrovitch, Phillip (Leslie) Lazrovitch, and Pete Lazrovitch, Sisters, Amy Lazrovitch, Angelina (Mike) Liner, and Peggy Barcus, Step-Mother, Pat Lazrovitch, Step-Brothers, Richard Noel, Marvin Johnson, and Raymond (Varicia) Noel. Stan also leaves behind to cherish his memory 27 Nieces & Nephews, and a host of Friends, Coworkers, and Extended Family.

To his love, Anita, he was a romantic dreamer full of surprises. She never knew when he might send flowers, where he might leave a love note, or when he might have a special evening planned.

He was a great husband, a wonderful Dad, a beloved brother, a treasured friend, and not many would argue, he was the Favorite Son.

The Family would like to express a heart felt Thank You for the care and compassion of the nurses and doctors at St Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. As they kept the family up to date and treated Stan like their own, as the family was not able to be at his bedside.

Services will be Private Family Only, with a Celebration of Life at a Later Date.

The family requests that contributions in Stan's memory be made to his grandchildren's college account.
