Stallard L. Williams, Sr, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, grandfather and uncle. He retired from R.B. Banta Construction Company. Stallard was a faithful deacon that loved the Lord and was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to sing and he loved to play horseshoes. He was admired by all. Above all, he loved the Lord with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength.
20 "But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."
2 Timothy 2:20-21
Survivors include his sister, Delores Brooks; children include Brenda Pittman, Stella Hollaway (Cecil), Vivian Harris (Michael, Sr.), Robin Gordon (Glen, Sr.), Priscilla Brown (Stephenal, Sr.), Stallard Williams, Jr., Janella Williams, Rita Sutton (Rudy, Jr.) and Natasha Williams; along with 26 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren. "Uncle Stallard" also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
