In loving memory of Stacy Ann Cook, who graced the world with her vibrant spirit and boundless love. Born on January 11, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, Stacy's journey came to an untimely end on July 3, 2025. Throughout her life, she embraced every moment with joy, leaving a profound impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Stacy was a fun-loving, free-spirited person who made her presence known. Her wild and crazy side brought laughter and excitement into the lives of everyone around her. Those closest to her will always remember her as a devoted and caring mom; she spent her life taking care of her girls, always making sure they knew how much she loved them. Being a fun mom and grandma was a role that she cherished deeply, and she could never bring herself to say "no" to her grandbabies—Kaylee Eldridge and Riley Shealy. Spending time with family and jamming out to music were a highlight of her life. Get togethers is where she could be found sharing stories and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Stacy’s nurturing nature extended beyond her family; she was affectionately seen as "mother nature" for her incredible green thumb. Her ability to bring any plant back to life spoke to her caring disposition and was a testament to her deep-rooted connection with the earth and all living things. Stacy's care and compassion extended to anyone in need around her.
Her life will be celebrated by her adoring daughters, Heather Shealy, Tabitha Shealy, and Hayley Bell, alongside her sister, Toni Holt. The warmth of her laughter will echo through their memories as they gather in love and remembrance.
Stacy joins her beloved family members in the afterlife, including her mother, Wanda B Cook, her father, David Ray, and the love of her life, Kevin M. Shealy. She is also reunited with her life partner, Nathan Bell, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A visitation to honor Stacy's life will be held on July 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272, followed by a heartfelt Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM .
