Sonja Irvin, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. Sonja enjoyed being a nurse and a substitute teacher. She enjoyed reading, cooking, swimming and especially enjoyed getting her hair and nails done and looking good. She always like to traveled when she could. She loved to watch her TV shows while eating snacks. She always loved leopard print anything. She was always a social butterfly and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She retired from Central State Hospital after many years of service.
She was born on July 3, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Mary (Summer) Fogg. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Fredrick Fogg, mother, Mary Patrick, husband, Marion Irvin, sister, Joan Fogg-Patrick.
Sonja is survived by her loving family, son, Kirk Fogg and son, Toma Irvin: 13 grandchildren: caregiver, Monica Wright. As well as a host of nieces, nephews,family, and friends to cherish her memory.
The family has chosen cremation with memorial service at a later date.
