Shirley Hendrix Woodruff, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019.
She was born on April 6, 1942 in Iuka, Mississippi to the late Thelon and Ruby (Reynolds) Hendrix.
Shirley enjoyed serving at Christian Assembly Church where she served in the dining room and kitchen. She was talented at cake decorating and cooking. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, and Brother, Jim Hendrix.
Shirley is survived by her loving Husband of 56 years, Joseph C. Woodruff, her Sons, Greg (Whitney) Woodruff, Scott (Beth) Woodruff, and Keith Woodruff, Grandchildren, Jordan, Kristen, Taylor, Colton, Caleb, Victoria, Mason, AnnaBelle, Taylor, Addie, and Shiloh; Brother, Jack Hendrix, Sister, Alice Beaver, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 4, 2019 and 1 hour prior to service time on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Christian Assembly Church, (9020 Stonestreet Road). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church with internment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Iuka, MS.
