Shirley Mae (Crady) Robinett

Shirley Mae (Crady) Robinett, 86, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025. Born on March 4, 1939, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Shirley lived a life filled with warmth, love, and a deep commitment to her family.

Shirley dedicated many years of her life to her career at PNC Bank in New Albany, where she found joy and satisfaction in her work. She was an avid reader and had a particular fondness for television game shows, often engaging with the challenges they presented. Shirley enjoyed playing cards and bingo, but her greatest delight came from being surrounded by her loved ones.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Elmer and Mattie (Mahoney) Crady and was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas; daughter, Lisa Robinett; grandson, Andrew Rutherford; and brother, Ernest Crady.

Shirley is survived by her children, Jennifer "Beth" Davidson (Kevin), Phillip Robinett (Mary Ann), and Patricia Robinett. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Linda Hughes (Richmond); brother, Jerry Crady (Carol); and sister-in-law, Joyce Crady.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
