Shirley Mae Patterson

Shirley Mae Patterson, 64, passed away on January 6, 2019. She was a caregiver her whole life and touched many lives. Shirley loved to play BINGO and she was always putting others first before herself.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Fadetta Patterson and brother, Walter Earl Patterson, Jr.
Shirley is survived by her children, David Mitchell, Eric (Charity) Tipton, Wendy Wells and Pamela Dodd; grandchildren, Cassie, Matthew, Brianna, Kayla, Samuel and Savannah; great-grandson, Bentley; sisters, Ruby Kay Southard, Josephine Powers and Mary Carpenter.
Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-8pm. Visitation will also be Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home, 115 W. Main Street, Leitchfield, KY 42754 from 2pm (CST) - 8pm (CST). A celebration of Shirley's life will be Sunday, January 13, 2019, beginning at 2pm (CST) at the chapel of Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 568 Cemetery Road, Big Clifty, KY.
