Shirley Mae Mccombs

Shirley Mae, McCombs, 79, passed into rest, waiting for the Resurrection, on June 20, 2018. Shirley was a Seventh Day Adventist and witnessed through home ministry. She retired from GE. She enjoyed gardening and was a kind and giving person. Shirley was always there to help others.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Joe Edwards; parents, Mamie and Bill Cowles and sister, JoAnn Gingrich.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Brad McCombs; son, Randy Edwards; grandson, Clay Edwards and sister, Norma Thompson.

Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 10am-1pm with a celebration of Shirley's life beginning at 1pm.

Burial will follow at Penn Run Memorial Park, 8405 Pennsylvania Run Rd, Louisville, KY.
