Shirley Joyce(Hill) Willham

Shirley Joyce (Hill) Willham, 81, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on February 11, 2016. She enjoyed collecting antiques and reading. Shirley was a great cook and also liked to can. She loved history and especially tracing the family genealogy.

She was born on December 18, 1934 in Bloomfield, Kentucky to the late Francis Marion and Mary Belle (Parsons) Hill. Shirley was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett Willham, Sr.; son, Everett Willham, Jr.; and sister, Virginia.

Shirley is survived by her children, Wendy Bradshaw (Allen), Lynn Willham (Kathy), William Willham (Susan); sisters, Frances, Deanna, Maeola; grandchildren, Reed, Ashley, Kimberly, Michael, Joshua, Sandy, Wesley; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9 AM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society (706 E. Lewis and Clark Pkwy, Clarksville, IN 47129).
