Shirley Ann Haynes

Shirley Ann Haynes , 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Shirley Ann was a loving mom, grandma, sister, and wife who loved quilting, gardening and most of all she loved her Chihuahuas Bonnie and Clyde. she always liked working puzzles and tending to her flowers. She always listened to music and she was an avid UK fan. She loved going places like the flea market, yard sales, and all around shopping as long as it got her out of the house. Shirley will truly be missed by all of her family and friends.

She was born on August 30, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Russell and Eliza (Davis) Elder. She is preceded in death by her father, Russell Elder and mother, Eliza Bell Elder; children, Arthur Davis, Billy Davis, Jerry Elder and Bonnie Sue Davis; sisters, Mary Wimpson and Stella Hagger.

Shirley is survived by her loving family ,children Jimmy Allen Davis, Tommy Davis, and Loretta Lynn (Ron) Holcomb; brother, Lawrence Lee (Judy) Roby; grandchildren, Samantha Davis, TJ Davis, and Brandy Davis; sister-in-law, Marie (Kenny) Cooper. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
