Shirley Ann Dunaway, age 79, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017. She was born August 14th, 1937 in Garrard County, Kentucky. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dunaway, Sr.; her grandsons, James Anthony "Tony" and Colin Ray Dunaway.
Shirley is survived by her loving children, Charlene Anderson (Danny), Ray Dunaway (Sissy), Johnny Dunaway, James Dunaway (Brenda) and Ronnie Dunaway (Laura); 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Lou Graham; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 2-8pm Friday, August 18, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, and also 9:30am – 11am Saturday, August 19th . A celebration of Shirley's life will be 11am Saturday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Middletown Historic Cemetery.
