Shirley L. Armstrong, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 24, 2016. She loved to play Bingo and she made sure to never miss her favorite T.V. shows.
Shirley was born on September 25, 1940, in Trimble, Tennessee to the late Melvin and Georgia (Bridges) Nevil. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Armstrong and her brother, Wayne Nevil.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Smith (William), Linda Sue Weaver (Jerry) and Brenda Vannostrand (Edward); and a host of many grandchildren, great-children, siblings, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272).
