Shirley Ann (Frazier) Clair, 78, of Charlestown, Indiana passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Riverview Village surrounded by her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting.
She was born on July 19, 1937 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the late Fred and Dora Frazier. Shirley was also preceded in death by her son, Dewey Clair.
Shirley is survived by her children, Carol Akemon (Rick), Angela Whitten, Christopher Clair, Freddy Clair; brothers, Jack Frazier (Millie), Clyde Frazier; granddaughters, Jennifer Akemon, Jessica Akemon, Misty Woods (Jason), Samantha Auer (Joseph), April Clair; and great-grandchildren, Lily Woods, Luke Woods, and Ayden Akemon.
Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 10 AM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM Friday, June 24, 2016 in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
Contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Riverview Village (Activities Department, 586 Eastern Boulevard, Clarksville, IN 47129).
