Sherry Lynn(Jones) Persinger, 68, of New Albany, Indiana was called home on Sunday, March 29, 2015. She was born on December 5, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Jesse Jones and Opal (Luallen) Martin. Sherry was an LPN and worked in the medical field for many years. She enjoyed playing games with friends and spending time with family.
Sherry is survived by her sons, Kenneth Persinger and Dale Hayes (Kris); sisters, Dailene Bobbit (Roger), Martha Thompson (Houston); stepfather, Dale Martin; four grandchildren, Alyxa, Jonathon, Alyssa, and Chelsey along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday April 2, 2015 from 2 to 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with a funeral service taking place at 6 PM.
