Sherrin Mann Lapsey

Sherrin Mann Lapsey, 81, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. Sherrin was an educator who taught at Portland Christian School in Louisville, Graceland Christian School in New Albany and went on to retire from Floyd Central High School. She enjoyed traveling and was proud of having been to all 50 states and Europe, and even lived 2 years on sailboat off the East Coast alongside her husband. Sherrin was a loving wife and mother who will be dearly missed.

She was born on July 18, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Paul Mann and Angie Jones Mann.

Sherrin is survived by her husband of 64 years, David P. Lapsey, she was his joy, happiness, light of his life, love of his life and best friend; son, David S. Lapsey DMD (Amber); daughters, Pamela Grangier (Patrick) and Sheryl Sprigler (Kevin); 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen following Sherrin's wishes. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
