Shellie Ann Knight, 65, of Auburn, Alabama, passed away in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, November 27, 2020. Shellie was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed watching westerns, listening to music and she was a big Alabama fan. She was a devoted housekeeper at Oak Park nursing home in Auburn, Alabama for 30 years.
She was born on August 31, 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama to Otis and Charlie Splunge. She is preceded in death by her father, Otis Splunge, mother, Charlie Mae Haley, grandson, Charles Splunge, and sister, Leila Deloney.
Shellie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Husband, John Henry Knight; children, Katrina Ann Shepherd, Willie Roy Splunge, and Joe W. Splunge; grandchildren, Jessica Splunge, Santeshia Splunge, and Joe Splunge, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Noah English and Mariah English; siblings, Deborah Felton, Curtis Reed, and Charles Bruce Splunge. As well as a host of nieces, cousins, family and best friends to cherish her loving memory.
