Shelby Wayne Clark

April 12, 1947 — May 15, 2019

Shelby Wayne Clark, 72, passed away on May 15, 2019. His grandchildren meant the world to him and Shelby enjoyed spending time with them. He was extremely passionate about his favorite sport teams and was an admirer of Elvis Presley music. Shelby was very giving; inspired many and couldn't turn anyone away in need. He and his brother, Jerry and Angela Clark had an unbreakable bond.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby Clark and Helen Sermon; step-father, Thomas Sermon; son, Joseph Clark; sisters, Bessy, Wanda, Betty and Shirley and brother, Billy Clark.

Shelby is survived by his children, Wayne (Angela) Clark, Daniel (Rachel) Clark, Tracy (Brian) Montgomery, Elizabeth (Corey) Clark and Thomas Payne; grandchildren, Joseph, Travis, Nicholas, Ryder, Skylar (Greg), William, Isabella, Lydia, Alton and Castiel; brother, Jerry Clark and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Shelby's life will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019, beginning at 1pm at the chapel of the funeral home.
