Sheila Rose Lucas

Sheila Rose Lucas, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Sheila enjoyed making people laugh. She was a caregiver to her parents and other family members throughout the years. She was a member of Riverside Gardens Baptist Church. Sheila was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and would make all those around her happy. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born on September 25, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Ethel (Embry) Dockery. She is preceded in death by her Parents, and Sister, Reva George.

Sheila is survived by her loving Daughter, Genny (Bill) Mueller, Son, Charles Phillip Pollard, Jr., Daughter, Julie Lucas, Companion of 5 Years, Keith Lockman, Grandchildren, Joshua D Geary, Phillip Wayne Pollard, Caleb I Pollard, Kaitlyn Mueller, and Malachi C. Witt, Sisters, Sue George, Bobbie Henderson, Darlene Henderson, and Nina Sayce, Brother, Ovie Dockery. Sheila also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Riverside Gardens Baptist Church, (4317 Lees Lane, Louisville, KY). Her Memorial Service will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, at Riverside Gardens Baptist Church.

The family requests that contributions in Sheila's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
