Shawna Alane (Caldwell) Law, 53, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Shawna enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, hairdressing, decorating, and playing card games. Of all her pastimes, her favorite was being with her family, especially her children, whom she loved so much.

She was born on July 15, 1968, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Ervin and Sally (McCullough) Caldwell.

Shawna is survived by her loving children, Kelsi Law and Grant Law; the father of her children, Michael Law; siblings, Cindy (Eddie) Porter, Greg (Connie) Caldwell, Pat (Bob) Patterson, and Machell (Bobby) Mullins; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Cremation was chosen in regards to Shawna's wishes. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Memorial Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Shawna's memory be made to the New Albany-Floyd County Animal Shelter.
