Sharyn Ann Padgett

Sharyn Ann Padgett, born on August 25, 1947, passed away on November 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with laughter, kindness, and the warmth of cherished memories. Renowned for her vivacious spirit, Sharyn made a mark in the hearts of those she encountered throughout her richly lived life.

Sharyn's professional journey found its vibrant expression at Ceaser's Casino, where she reveled in the joy of meeting new friends and exchanging smiles. Her ability to forge connections was nothing short of extraordinary; she indeed never met a stranger. This talent for engagement reflected her inherently humorous nature—a quality that characterized not only her professional life but also her personal interactions.

In addition to her career, Sharyn was a talented storyteller whose narratives brought to life moments of humor and insight, captivating the attention of her family and friends alike. She loved to share delicious meals, often prepared with a tender heart, which would bring loved ones together around the table. Whether it was cooking a favorite dish or indulging in delightful dining experiences, Sharyn’s passion for food was a testament to her vibrant zest for life.

Life's simple pleasures filled Sharyn's days; from basking in the sun at the beach to participating in energetic games of BINGO, her interests were as varied and colorful as her personality. Her love for watching TV shows provided her a cherished pastime, often accompanied by the laughter and warmth of those she held dear.

Sharyn's radiant spirit and an unwavering love for her family will forever be etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. A memorial gathering in honor of her life will take place on December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY, 40272.

As we celebrate Sharyn Ann Padgett, let us remember her laughter, her kindness, and the vibrant stories that will continue to echo in our lives, reminding us all of the beautiful soul she was.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Judie Wilkinson and her sister, Jean Frantz.

Sharyn leaves behind to cherish her memories are her children, Ronald Litsey, Jr. (Sharon) and Saundra Litsey; grandson, Ryan; great-grandson, Theo; sisters, Debbie Keys and Jayce Tichenor; numerous nieces, nephews and caring friends, Greg and Kirsten Goodman.
