Sharrie G. Abrams, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 12, 2016 at Baptist Hospital East. She retired from Fireman's Fund after 35 years of service.

Sharrie was born on May 4, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Bob Gaunt and Wanda (Nunn) Gaunt.

Sharrie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Victor Abrams, mother, Wanda Gaunt, brother Kevin Gaunt, daughter Kim (Abrams) Bishop (Tommy), son Brian Abrams (Mitzi), grandchildren, Kirslyn, Chris, Tyler, Brianna, Travis, and Brevin and her two beloved cats, Smokey and Squeaky.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Kentucky Humane Society and/or to the ASPCA.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Chrystal McMahan, all the nurses from Baptist East and palliative care for the excellent care and kindness they gave to Sharrie.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12:00pm at St. Luke's Episcopal Church 1206 Maple Lane Anchorage, Kentucky 40223 with the visitation to follow until 4:00pm.
