Sharon Eckenrode, 68, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Jeffersonville.
Sharon was born on December 29, 1949 in Scottsburg, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin & Margaret Carter; and her son, James Wesley Eckenrode.
Sharon is survived by her husband, George Eckenrode, daughter, Grace Mouser (Jim); brother, Ron Carter (Sandi); grandchildren, Richard (Tonya), Jeremy, Casey and Quinton (Ashley) Mouser; 2 great grandchildren, Raymond & Layton.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). Her Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
