Sharon Rose Bratcher

Sharon Rose Bratcher, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025. Sharon was a loving wife, mom, mamaw, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She worked at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth hospital for 47 years. She loved her UK Basketball, loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, and took care of many people over her lifetime. She enjoyed traveling, big Harry Potter fan, playing marbles with family, and a fan of crime & supernatural shows. She had a belly laugh that would take her breath away and will always be remembered. Sharon will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on December 30, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Mary (Culver) DeWitt. She is preceded in death by her Father, Joseph DeWitt, Mother, Mary Agnes DeWitt, and Brother, Michael DeWitt.

Sharon is survived by her loving Husband of 44 years, Hayward G. Bratcher, Children, Crystal (Adam Costello) Bratcher, Glenn "Buster" (Ashley) Bratcher, Grandchildren, Jaron Glore, Jaidlyn Bratcher, Leo Williams, Tamzyn Bratcher, Brother, Joseph "Pete" (Susan) DeWitt, Friends, Johannah Stonefield, Stanley Osborne, and Samantha Osborne, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
