Shannon A. Williams

Shannon Arnetta Williams, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. Shannon was a people person, straight shooter with anyone in her life, she loved to have a good time with her good friends and family, she was as tough as she was compassionate, she loved to cook, she enjoyed shopping, she will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on April 21, 1969 in Washington, District of Columbia to Samuel Woodson and Glyceria Williams. She is preceded in death by her Father, Samuel Woodson, Sr., Grandparents, Glyceria Fields and Robert Williams.

Shannon is survived by her loving Mother, Glyceria Williams, Son, Brandon Williams, Daughter-In-Law, Chasity Williams, Uncles, Robert Williams, Jr., William Campbell, and Bernard Williams, as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Ward Memorial AME (241 42nd St NE Washington, DC 20019). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the same location with a repass to follow.
