Shannon Lee Ramsey

Shannon Lee Ramsey, 48, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away at his home on Friday, March 17, 2017. Shannon loved to make people laugh and was very family-oriented. He was always very spontaneous and looking for the next adventure, whether it be taking off on a spur-of-the-moment trip or a hunting outing with his buddies.

Shannon is survived by his children, Cheyenna Ramsey (Garret) and Justin Ramsey; parents, Willard and Shirley (Phelps) Ramsey; brother, Jeff Ramsey (Laura); grandchildren, Shealee, Bexlee, Kyla, and Dallan; aunt, Phyllis Phelps; and former wife and best friend, Wendy Ramsey.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 11:00 a.m. His Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel at the funeral home. Cremation will follow, following Shannon's wishes.
