Shannon Allen Lindsay died unexpectedly but peacefully at New Albany Nursing and Rehab on July 3, 2017 at the age of 48.
He was a 1986 graduate of Doss High School, he played football for and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Spaulding University. Shannon's last employment was with The Hartland Payment System.
Shannon is survived by his parents John and Anna Lindsay, sister Ivette Lindsay, brother Cedric (Janice) Lindsay.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 12:00pm at Christ Temple Christian Life Center (723 S. 45th Street Louisville, KY 40211) with burial to follow at New Castle GUOOF Cemetery.
