Shannon A.(Smith) Burke

Shannon Ann (Smith) Burke, 46, a faithful wife and mother, of Corydon, Indiana passed away on Monday evening, February 1, 2016. She was a member of Northside Christian Church. Shannon had a deep love for God and His people. She enjoyed reading the Bible, laughter, and loved to make others happy.

She was born on November 3, 1969 in Albany, New York to Mary Ellen (Riley) Dukerich and the late Robert Smith. Shannon is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bart Burke; children, Amanda Burke, Austin Burke, and Brittany Heminway; sisters, Patty, Tracy, and Debbie; brother, Kevin; and grandson, Hayden.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 6 PM on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her Funeral Service taking place at 6 PM. Cremation will follow according to Shannon's wishes.
