Scott Raypole

Damon Scott Raypole, 63, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away at home peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Scott proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Semper Fidelis, Always Faithful, Always Loyal, was a strong sentiment he carried close to his heart. He retired from UPS after more than 35 years of service and was a devoted union member with Teamsters. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and had a passion for fishing and hunting. Most importantly, Scott cherished his family and his beloved dog, Buddy, who was his treasured joy. Scott will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. He was born on August 10, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to Barbara and Leonard Raypole. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Eugene Raypole; sisters, Stephanie Lynn Raypole, Monica Lynn Raypole; and his beloved dog, Buddy.

Scott is survived by his loving family, mother, Barbara Jean Fahey; siblings, Denny (Terry) Raypole, Robyn Keith; nieces, Whitney Raypole, Alicia Ray, Kristi Ray; significant other, Lei Fahey; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive. His funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
