Scott Anthony Howard

February 15, 1964 — April 3, 2021

Scott Anthony Howard, 57, of Louisville passed away on April 3rd with his loving family by his side.

Scott was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and attended the University of Louisville. He loved U of L sports and was also an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Scott loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially while camping. He worked for JCPS for 26 years as a Special Education High School Instructor. Through his work in the school system and many volunteer hours with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, Scott touched many hearts and lives.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Judith Howard.

He is survived by his faithful and devoted wife, Sharon Fenster-Howard; daughters, Rachael Elizabeth and Sarah Katherine Howard; father, William Howard; siblings, Timothy Howard and Jeanine Howard-Cherry; 9 nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew.

A service celebrating Scott's life will be held on Friday, April 9th at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until the service time on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Scott's memory may be made to the family.
