Scott William Harden, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Scott spent 23 years married to Andrea (Ernst) Harden, building a life filled with love, laughter, and wonderful memories. Scott was known for his kindness, humor, and a passion for politics and Louisville Cardinals. He was so proud of his high school Alma Mater, St. Xavier High School. Scott was very passionate about classic cars, especially a 55 Chevy. His family was his whole world. He showed his love with hard work at Meyer Trucking and tinting windows for his numerous customers. Cooking and grocery shopping were his love language for his wife. Scott enjoyed spending time bonding with his son, attending various car races. His morning phone calls with his daughter during her class changes were his favorite part of his morning. Scott will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on March 3, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Adam Harden and Carole Ryan.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Andrea Harden; daughter, Samantha Harden; son, Lucas Harden; father, Adam (Catie) Harden; mother, Carole Cattan; step-mother, Melissa Burnett-Harden; brothers, Michael (Karen) Harden, Jeremy (Adrienne) Harden, Andrew Harden, sister, Sarah Cattan; honorary brother from another mother Nic Picard, as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 235 East Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Scott’s memory be made to the American Heart Association or St. Xavier High School.
