Scharlene "Mickey" Virginia Bradley, an embodiment of joy and vivacity, departed this earthly realm on March 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Born on December 1, 1934, in the vibrant city of Louisville, Kentucky, Mickey was a beacon of independence and fun, with an infectious laugh that could light up the darkest of rooms.
Throughout her splendid journey on this earth, Mickey passionately embraced life with an insatiable appetite for music, laughter, and vibrant sunshine. She would often be found singing loudly until the very roof seemed to raise in delight, her spirited voice echoing the joy she held within. Mickey delighted in games with friends, cherishing those moments of camaraderie and competition, all while enveloping everyone in the warmth of her affectionate nature. She had a particular fondness for beautiful sunny days, relishing every chance to bask in the glow of the sun, savoring the simplest pleasures life offered.
Mickey was a devoted mother, and one of her proudest accomplishments was nurturing her children into the remarkable individuals they are today. Her family was her world; each laugh, each meal shared, each lively game played was a testament to the unwavering love she poured into every moment. Survived by her adoring daughter Lisa (Mike) Bradley, her cherished daughter Vicky (Don) Webb, and her beloved son Hugh (Cindy Ezell) Bradley, Mickey's spirit will continue to guide and inspire them. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Angel Harvey, Christy Dumm, Shannon Helm, Michael Webb, Cara Webb, and Zachary Bradley, along with 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her vibrant legacy, woven into the fabric of their lives through her unwavering love.
Mickey's roots run deep, born to the cherished union of Houston and Mary Sharp, with her beloved brother Bill Sharp standing as a part of her life story. Though they have all departed, the bonds of love are eternal, echoing through the lives Mickey touched so profoundly.
In a world that often rushes past, Mickey paused to savor every delicious bite of life. Her warmth and playful spirit will be missed by all who knew her, yet her laughter will forever linger in cherished memories and joyful gatherings. As we celebrate the light she brought into our lives, we honor a woman who truly knew how to love fiercely, laugh wholeheartedly, and live abundantly. Mickey, your essence will dance on with the gentle breeze and resonate in every note of music, reminding us all of the beauty of a life well-lived.
