Saundra Silva, 78, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Saundra is preceded in death by her parents, John Silva and Mary Mendez-Miller; and her brothers, Ronald Silva and John Silva "Johnnycake". Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her children, Tracy Lynn Thompson, Tina Miles, Troy (DeAnna) Miles, Joseph (Sha'Rhonda) Thompson III and Bland (Kathy) Milles III. As well as her siblings, Jodie Lynn Miller, Barry (Carolyn) Silva, Ernie Miller "Ernie", Rodney Dale (Nancy) Miller and Jeffrey Miller "JB"; sister in-law, Nancy Silva; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; bonus mother, Hilda Silva; a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends; including her very special friends, Melanie and Lavone Lumba.
The family would like to extend their warmest of appreciation to Hosparus Health of Southern Indiana Team, especially Tammy, Joan, Rachel and Onyinyechi for the support during this time.
A memorial visitation will be from 3-6pm on Friday September 17th at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A memorial service celebrating her life will take place at 6pm on Friday ( there will be a link provided to watch the service live).
The family kindly suggests that expressions of sympathy be purple in honor of Saundra's favorite color.
