Saundra Kay (Toney) Bline

January 11, 1957 — March 5, 2021

Saundra K. "Sandy" Bline, age 64, passed away peacefully and entered heaven's gates surrounded by family on Friday, March 5, 2021, having succumb to Coronavirus complications. She was born January 11, 1957, in New Albany, Indiana. Her parents, Gene and Charlotte Staser preceded her in death.

Sandy worked at Freudenberg Medical, formerly MedVenture medical supply manufacturer, serving in various capacities within the company over the last 17 years. Prior to that, she was employed at Robinson Nugent where she manufactured electronics components for 15 years.

She was a loving spouse, mother, sister, "Nana," friend, and co-worker who always left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had an infectious personality and a laugh that no one could ever forget. She was an avid camper that truly loved her "camping family." She was an excellent cook who always made sure there was enough for everyone. She enjoyed traveling to see her grandchildren's marching band performances and always gave them loving support. She recently took up a passion for quilting, making forever-cherished keepsakes. "Louise," as she was nicknamed, loved her trips to the beach and spending time with her partner in crime, "Thelma." Sandy was one of the nicest people you could ever meet who put everyone else first. While she left this earth far too soon, the depth of her affections and the memory of her life will forever be etched in our memories.

Survivors include her loving husband, John H. Bline, Jr.; two children, Medessa (James) Embry and Joe (Amy) Wilhoite; grandchildren, Darian (Vincenzo) Lafronza, Bryce Embry, Alaina Wilhoite, and Olivia Wilhoite. She was "bonus mom" to Michelle (Lovell) Bline, Travis (Sherri) Bline, and Mallory (Matt) Coyle; and Nana to 12 additional grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Cathy (Tom) Hart; nephew, Dalton Cullen; and a number of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane).
