Sarah White

May 1, 1922 — May 14, 2016

Sarah G. White left this earth and went Home on May 14, 2016.

She was born on May 1, 1922 to Twyman and Esther Allen in Lebanon, Kentucky. One of eight children she is survived by two brothers Jim Allen of Denver, CO and Ron Allen of Owensboro, KY.

The world will have a noticeable void because she was a unique and beautiful person, both inside and out. She loved clothes and had a jacket for every occasion. There was never a person who was lonely when she was there because she made the least of them feel special. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always had pictures to show.

Most of all she loved her Lord and was praying until the end. She never gave up on anyone and always held out hope that all things are possible.

Waiting for her in eternal life is her son Jim Bohanon, husband Harry White, parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Left to miss her terribly is her daughter Sue Ernst (Jim), daughter-in-law Pat Bohanon, Debbie Zander (Bob), grandchildren David Ernst (Karen), Mark Ernst, Amy Bohanon and Bill Downs and David Zander (Cary), along with great grandchildren Jenna, Lily, Emma, Will Ernst, Ellie Downs, and Zach and Meghan Zander.

We love you Nonnie and life will not be the same without you.

The entire family wants to thank her friends and staff at Parrs, Hosparus and her caregiver friends for loving her and so tenderly walking with her on her final journey.

She was laid to rest at Cave Hill Cemetery on May 18, 2016.
