Sarah Elizabeth Kern Lynch

Sarah Elizabeth Kern Lynch, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Kindred Healthcare. She was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on September 21, 1941 to the late Henry T. and Ethel Kern. She was retired from the Jefferson County Property Valuation Administration and a former deputy clerk for the Jefferson County Clerk's office. Sarah was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Lynch, Jr.; a son, Martin E. Lynch; a sister, Patricia Jones; and a brother, Henry T. Kern, Jr.

Sarah is survived by her beloved son, Mark Lynch; a grandson, Eric (Samantha) Lynch; great-grandson, Falcon; and a host of other family members and friends.

Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from noon till service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
