Sarah Helen (McCloud) Krieger, 85, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. A loving mother and grandmother, Helen enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family. Creatively gifted and culinarily talented, many reaped the benefits of her sewing, crocheting, and cooking skills.
Helen was born on October 15, 1928 in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late James T. and Vema A. (Harvey) McCloud. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Krieger.
She is survived by her sons, Danny, David (Joyce), Doug (Sandy), and Kevin (Helen) Krieger; daughters, Darlene Gehring (Chuck), Robin Morgan (Dave), and Laura Boulton (Jim); brothers Arthur, Billy, and George (Beth) McCloud; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. Newcomer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
