Sarah Catherine Scott

October 1, 1939 — September 3, 2016

Sarah Catherine Scott, age 76, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016, with her loving children by her side. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, a caring mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Sarah was a lover of plants and flowers and was also an avid crafter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Scott, Sr.; her parents, George and Bernice Pfaff Gabehart; and also her three brothers, Ben, Bill and George Gabehart.

Sarah is survived by her devoted children, Frank Jr., Denise Roessler (Ron), Mark (Monica) and Terry Scott (Rhonda); grandchildren, Kristen Adair (Jimmi), Allison Scott, Anne and Rebecca Roessler, Terry Dale and Jackson Scott; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Mass of celebration will be 11am on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2040 Buechel Bank Road Louisville, KY 40218, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Kentucky Humane Society.
