Sarah Ruth (Gambill) Carlin, 52, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 24, 2017.
She was born on July 24, 1964, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Joseph V. and Dora L. (Cox) Gambill. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Della Gambill; and brother, Donnie Gambill.
Sarah is survived by her husband of 28 years, Kenny Carlin; brothers, Joe Gambill (Linda) and William Gambill (Judy); nephews, Steve (Kim), Billy, and Jeff Gambill; nieces, Cheryl Wermuth (Eric) and Kimberly Gambill; great nieces and nephews, Hannah, Josh, Jadan, Whitney, Courtney, Austin, Alyssa, and Ashton.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
