Sarah Ruth Binkley-Rutherford

Sarah Ruth Binkley-Rutherford, age 62 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024.  Sarah spent her life as a caring, compassionate and well trained caregiver.  She was formerly employed with a traumatic brain Injury facility in Simpsonville, Kentucky and also Boys Haven in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was preceded in death by her adopted mother, Elizabeth Binkley; and her brother, Arthur Edgar Manning, Jr..

Sarah is survived by her parents, Rev. Ben and Dee Binkley; three children, Theresa Binkley, James Rutherford and Gabrielle Rutherford; nine grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Sarah spent the last six years in rehabilitation facilities, Hillcreek Rehab and also Good Samaritan in Jeffersontown, Kentucky.

Services will be private.
