Sara Carolyn Junot

Mrs. Carol Junot died Sat. December 25, 2021, while residing at Clifton Oaks Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Mrs. Junot was 80. Carol was born Sara Carolyn Todd, October 17, 1941, to Banner and Maureen Todd, in Jellico, Tennessee. Carol, as she was called, was a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Carol moved to Louisville, and married her husband, Charles Junot, on July 23, 1974. Carol was formerly employed with American Air Filter in Louisville until they closed. Carol was an active member of Hikes Point Christian Church, teaching Sunday school class, and was involved the women's Bible study group. Beloved by all, Carol was a woman of good cheer, kindness, and grace. She will be missed. Carol was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Stanley Todd (1940 – 1995) and Nancy Sharon Todd Overall (1947 – 2019).

Mrs. Junot is survived by her husband, Charles; her nephews, Andrew Todd Overall and Adrian White; sister-in-law, Janie Junot White (Steven); brother-in-law, Albert Overall and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 12 to 2pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Sara's life will be at the funeral home at 2pm, with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky.
