Sandra Lee Seigle-DeWitt, age 74 of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born on April 22, 1946 in Peru, Indiana to the late Walter and Dorothy Lillard and is also preceded in death by her sister, Sharron Cardwell. Sandy attended Seneca High School and University of Nebraska. Once returning to Louisville, she began her career as a case manager at what is now called the Center For Women and Families, and later as a therapist at The Morton Center. Since that time, she has worked as a family counselor, where she has helped many clients who will surely miss her.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dwight W. DeWitt, daughter, Stacy Golde (Hirsch,) niece, Beverly Greene (Tim,) and great-niece, Shelby. She is also survived by her bonus children, Traci McCloud and Patrick DeWitt (Karen,) 8 grandchildren, Chloe, Jordyn, Alyssa, Karli, Tylar, Emma, Connor and Isaac and 1 great-grandchild, Wrenley Kate; and a host of relatives and friends.
A memorial service to honor her life will be scheduled at a later date. The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of a donation to one of the following valued charities: Dare to Care Food Bank, Kentucky Humane Society, or Wayside Christian Mission.
