Sandra Jean Young

Sandra Jean Young, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 4, 1951 to the late Albert Terrance Johnson and Nettie Mae Craig. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall on 20th Street and dedicated many years of service at Treyton Oak Towers.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Young; siblings, Robert Johnson, Michael Hayden, William Hayden, David Bell.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, Chyron Young, Nyasha Young, and Camesha Young; four grandchildren, Devontay Cross, Isaiah Cross, Braxton Young and Jordan Carpenter; siblings, James Johnson, Ronald Johnson, Sherril Bonner, Wanda Martin, and Beverly Hayden; and a host of other family members and friends.

A funeral to celebrate her life will be conducted Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
