Sandra Lynn Jackson, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away on November 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love that will resonate within the hearts of many. Born on February 11, 1969, Sandra was known for her nurturing spirit and her unwavering dedication to those she cherished.
Her vivacious personality illuminated every room she entered; she was both outgoing and welcoming, always ready with a listening ear or a comforting embrace. To know Sandra was to experience the profound depth of her caring nature, a trait that inspired all who met her.
Sandra's proudest accomplishments were woven into the fabric of her home and the lives she enriched while raising her children. She took immense joy in the role of a mother, finding fulfillment in nurturing her family with the same care that she extended to everyone around her. Each meal she prepared was crafted with love, as she delighted in baking and cooking, oftentimes bringing the family together at the dining table.
A lover of festive moments, Christmas was her favorite holiday, a time she cherished for both its joyous spirit and the red decorations that filled her home—a reflection of her vibrant nature. In quieter times, she found solace in long walks, sipping wine, and enjoying her beloved coffee, creating memories that enhanced her zest for life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mary Jackson; brother, Brian Jackson and her fur baby, Max.
Sandra leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, J'Mal Jackson, Cassandra Nowell and Tyrese Nowell; siblings, Jerry (Sue) Irvin, Cleo Williams, Karen (Aaron) Sheckles and Dana Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her departure will be commemorated with a viewing on December 19, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, both held at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272.
While Sandra has left this world, her spirit remains with us, a reminder of the beauty of kindness and the strength of love. Her memory will forever be embraced by those fortunate enough to have walked alongside her in life.
